Creative Director & Founder Russell James

Russell James is a design and branding practitioner with over two decades of first class international experience.

Beginning his career in graphic and print design, he worked at leading London design groups including Triangle Design and the global IPG group agency Futurebrand where as Creative Director he worked extensively across Europe.

More recently he was Creative Director of the Dubai based regional start up August Brand Strategy and Corporate Design before launching and fronting James Branding in 2009.

An unwavering aim is to execute timeless design of subject, style and integrity in work consistently imbued with spacious elegance and sublime airiness; all too rare in the hurly-burly of current design trends.

International design experience proudly includes retrospective projects for; Fifty One East, Aston Martin, Bank of Montreal, Bank of Scotland, British Airways, Diageo, Darwish Holding, Emirates Airlines, Gleneagles Hotel, NCB Saudi, Quam, Sandy Lane Hotel, Scottish Widows, Johnnie Walker, Telefonica, City Hospital Dubai – just to name a few!

An all pervading interest in the culture of design, style and communication has led to special projects as far afield as Barcelona, Barbados, London, Hamburg, New York, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
